Job Offer Evaluator

Compare up to two job offers. See total compensation, cost-of-living–adjusted value, and whether each offer is below market, competitive, or strong.

Estimates based on publicly available US data; for general guidance only. Not professional advice.

US only. This tool uses US salary data and cost-of-living indices. Locations are specific US cities and “National (US average)”. All amounts are in USD. India and other countries are not supported—scores and market comparisons would not apply.
Data sources & disclaimer

What happens behind the scenes. The tool uses salary ranges and cost-of-living indices from publicly available US data (e.g. BLS Occupational Employment and Wage Statistics–style estimates). Data is loaded from static files deployed with the site. BLS also offers an API for organizations; if the site operator has access, live data may be used. Otherwise you see the same static, public-source data—still useful for ballpark comparison.

Data sources. The bundled data is derived from publicly available US sources (e.g. BLS Occupational Employment and Wage Statistics–style estimates). Cost-of-living indices are approximate and from public sources. That underlying public data can change; we do not guarantee the tool’s copy is current or complete.

Estimates only. Scores, percentiles, and market comparisons are estimates for general guidance only. They are not a guarantee of accuracy and should not be relied on as the sole basis for career, negotiation, or financial decisions. For important decisions, verify with official sources (e.g. bls.gov) or a qualified compensation or career professional.

Not advice. This tool is provided as-is and does not provide career, legal, tax, or financial advice. Use at your own risk. By using this tool you agree that the operator is not liable for any decisions you make or outcomes resulting from use of these estimates.
